Thursday: Artistic event starts at 4:29. I should skate at 4:30.
Friday: Freeskate event starts at 1:57. I should skate at 2:20.

Sometimes events can run late but almost never run early.

Details of each event are listed below for any further reading!!

There is a great APP you can download for all the information and live streaming on your phone!

Details of Events:

  1. International Adult Gold Solo Pattern Dance or Solo Ice Dance Gold Pattern Dance. The key notes here are “solo”, “pattern” and “gold”. I will compete two pattern dances that are done throughout the world and have been done for decades. This event will run from 1:17 – 3:10 on Wednesday. I should be skating close to 1:45 and then again at about 2:20.
  2. International Adult Gold Singles Women II or Gold Women Artistic Freeskate II.  This is a program that just incorporates the music and the interpretation of the music. No required elements are included. The II in the title means I will compete with skaters within a decade of my age, between 38 and 45. This event will run from 4:29 – 5:13 on Thursday. I am the first skater, so I will be competing at 4:30.
  3. International Adult Gold Women II or Gold Women Free Skating II. The final event is the freeskate event. This event is the hardest, a three-minute program with 3 required spins and 5 required jumps. This event takes place at 1:57 on Friday. I will be competing around 2:20.

Amazing shots from @danielleearlphotography from #ISUVernon2026. This is from the solo dance event. The 4th and final day of the Adult International Figure skating competition involved cheering on friends, a volunteer shift, a great wrap up party and some fabulous synchro skates! Day 3 wrapped with the third event. Started with a great practise and many great skates to watch, then my Freeskate with a personal best score and 5th place finish. Day 2 wrapped up. Fourth place finish for me! The top three were outstanding! Congrats @fionadougherty @lizzy_99 and @karine_pomminville and all! Great to meet such amazing athletes! What a start to the week!
