I am a 20-year BC wine advocate, a Skate Canada figure skating official and a competitive adult figure skater. I have a husband of 23+ years and two nearly grown children. I love to garden, walk, hike and, of course, skate.

- 1980-1988 Grew up on a 43′ power boat on the Fraser River
- 1983 Started figure skating at age 3
- 1988 Moved into a houseboat, still on the river
- 1989 Participated in my first figure skating competition
- 2000 Passed Gold Skills and Gold Freeskate tests for figure skating
- 2001 Participated in my final figure skating competition
- 2003 Got married
- 2004 Bought our first house
- 2006 Had a daughter
- 2008 Took an online winemaking course from UC Davis
- 2009-2012 Operated a social media consulting boutique
- 2010 Had a son
- 2011 Moved to the Okanagan
- 2011 Started working in the BC wine industry
- 2014 Started skating again
- 2014 Started judging figure skating
- 2015 Participated in my first adult figure skating competition
- 2016 Passed Gold Dance tests for figure skating
- 2019 Started a journey of learning, life changes and walking
- 2021 Became a Senior Sectional Figure Skating judge
- 2024 Daughter graduated high school and started college
- 2025 Social Sarah began
